How to get to Proposals: Click on Job Cost, then Proposals.
Maintain Proposals helps you create a proposal for a customer quote.

Proposals - NetServiceBooks Service Software

  • Enter a Proposal # or use the look up button to search.
  • Enter the Proposal Date, Customer ID, To: the billing address, Jobnm/Location address, and phone numbers.
  • A Job # and Lead Source code can be entered on this proposal.
  • Enter the Amount of the proposal and the Estimate #. When an Estim # is entered, the Go To Estimate button at the top of the screen will take you to that estimate.
  • Enter the Days To Accept and Parts Request #.
  • The Accepted box is checked once the customer has signed the proposal.
  • When the Remove From Board box is checked, the proposal will not go to the Sales Quotes Board under Purchase Orders.

  • The Descriptions tab allows you to enter detail into the proposal.
  • The Import Detail Components and Import Terms Components buttons can be used to enter information on this screen.
  • The top text box is used to enter the Payment Terms.
  • Enter the Description in the lower text box. Click the Save button and use the Print button to go to the proposal. From there you have options to print, fax or e-mail to the customer.
  • To type single space, use Shift-Enter to go to the next line. The Enter key alone will create double spaces.
