How to get to List Technician Invoices: From the Main Menu, click on List Tech Invoices.
This listing is used to call up pre-existing invoices for reference or for making changes. Once an invoice is marked as complete by the technician the accounts receivable user will then post the invoice and the invoice can no longer be edited by the technician. Remember, the technician can make as many invoices for one work order as needed.

Technician List Tech Invoices - NetServiceBooks Service Software
  • Sort By - The listing can be sorted five ways. If the selection by customer or job is made then enter in a valid customer or job number and only the invoice for that customer or job will be listed.
  • Invoice - Sort the list by the assigned invoice number.
  • Job # - If entered will only list invoices with that job number.
  • Customer - If selected will only list invoices for that customer code.
  • Work Order # - Will only list invoices for the specified work order.
  • Show Just Incomplete for User - Lists invoices that are not flagged as complete on the quick invoice.
  • Show Invoice Descriptions - Will show the invoice descriptions on the listing so that the user does not have to call up each invoice to see the work performed.
  • Beginning and Ending Date - Select date range by invoice date. Will only show non-closed invoices. Non-closed refers to the Billing end of month close.
Technician List Tech Invoices - NetServiceBooks Service Software
  • Invoice # - If clicked will bring up the Quick Invoice.
  • Work Order - The work order number for that invoice.
  • Cust # - The customer number on the invoice.
  • Cust Name - The customer name from the customer file.
  • Emp-Code - The payroll employee code of the technician.
  • Bill Hrs - The total hours for the technician on the invoice.
  • P/R Hrs - The hours that are on the payroll time card. These hours are sent automatically to the time card when the invoice is saved.
  • Completed - The invoice is marked as completed.
  • Users - If the user has checked the user is complete check box on the Quick Invoice, their user name will appear here. This way if any other user needs to audit the invoice or post to a/r and/or g/l they will wait until the technicians user name appears. Then the auditor will know that the technician is done with the invoice.
