PO Sales Quotes Board
How to get to Sales Quotes Board: Click on Purchase Orders/Returns, then Sales Quotes Board.
When a sales person is filled in on the Maintain Parts Request screen, that parts request will show on the Sales Quotes Board.
When a sales person is filled in on the Maintain Parts Request screen, that parts request will show on the Sales Quotes Board.
- The Sales Quotes Board is color coded by status.
- By placing the mouse over a quote request the company name, vendor(if ordered) and comments will appear.
- The Parts Request L/U button will take you to Maintain Parts Request so you can look up or create a new request.
- The Customer L/U button will take you to Maintain Customer. From there you can look up an existing customer.
- The PO L/U button goes to Maintain Purchase Order to look up or create a new purchase order.
- The Proposal L/U button will take you to the screen to find a proposal.
- Click on the blue number link to open a specific quote.
- Change the Status of this quote by using the scroll down menu.The Job Approved New Work Order selection will take this request off the board and help you create an estimate for the customer.
- Type comments in the text box. This is what will appear on the board.
