Jeti Instant Messenger

How to get to this tool:
Log in to your NetserviceBooks Portal, and click the 'Who Is Online?' link (images shown below). Jeti Instant Messenger will automatically sign you in when you are signed in to your company portal. You will instantly be able to see and talk to anyone else who is logged into your company, including the NSB support team. All conversations are kept in the company's history log, so make sure your conversations with your co-workers are proper and work related.

The first time you log into your company portal, Jeti will take some time to find your Java installation on your computer and make sure you have the proper certificates. The screen you will see is shown below:

Next, a screen will appear asking you to accept the certificate from the guy who wrote the Jeti program. Click 'Run' like in the screen shown below:

After the permission is given, your Jeti messenger box will look like this:

Now that everything is set up and ready on your computer, your Jeti box will appear like the one shown below. Make sure that you keep this window open: as soon as you close the Jeti window, the program shows you as being offline and you will not be able to see messages coming in. The green balls next to the names mean that those people are online and available for you to speak with them. Double click on a person's name to talk.

The screen shown below will appear. Type in the bottom box and use the Enter key on your keyboard or click the Send button to deliver the message. The other person will have your conversation pop up on their computer.
