How to get to this screen: Click on
Inventory, then
Enter Actual In-Stocks.
The List In-Stocks tab is a listing of actual physical inventory that has been counted. The In-Stock Record can be used to adjust inventory. A scanner can be used to count the actual inventory and pull it into the system.
Items can also be edited from this screen. By clicking on
Edit Item, you will be taken to
Maintain Items.
- Under the List In-Stocks tab is a list of items that have been counted and are in-stock. To change the Quantity from this screen, click on the blue Line number and it will take you to the In-Stock Record tab.From there you can adjust the quantity by entering the actual quantity in the Qty field.
- When items are scanned, the Item # and Manufacturer # fields will be filled in.
- Enter the Location #, the actual Qty of the item, and a Description. Click the Save button to change the List In-Stocks tab.
- When all of the adjustments have been made, click the Save button. To process these changes in the system, go to the next lesson, Adj. To Physical In stocks.
- Enter physical inventory under the In-Stock Record tab. Enter the Item # and Location. To adjust the quantity, enter the actual in stock in the Qty In-Stock field and click the Save button. To check your changes go to the List In-Stocks tab and click on the Refresh button. Your item adjustment will be there. Remember to ALWAYS go to the Adj To Physical In stocks screen when finished entering inventory counts.
- To move items to another location check the Move From/To box and enter the Loc To (new location). Enter the amount to be moved in the Qty In-Stock field and click the Save button. Follow the same steps shown above to make sure the inventory moves correctly.
