How to get to Default Phases/Tasks: Click on Job Cost, then Default Phases/Tasks. This screen is used to create phases and tasks that can be imported into the New Job/Estimate screen in Job Cost.Cost. Creating these defaults here will make it much easier to apply the tasks and phases used on a job to every aspect of that job, including employee hours.

  • Click on the Add Lines button to create a new Phase or Task under each tab.

  • Enter the Phase # or Task # code to be used.
  • Type a brief Description for this phase or task.

  • To view or edit the Phase or Task, click on the blue Line number link.
