How to get to this screen: Click on
Accounts Receivable, then
Collections.
The Collections Report shows the listing of
customers that are past due on
their accounts. This report is also used by the Collections Department to
follow-up with these
customers, create comments on the accounts and send
customer
statements.
- In the Days Old field, enter the amount of days that you would like to see the customer balance. ex. If you type 60 days, customers who have had balances for longer than 60 days will come up.
- Click Run Report.
- To use this report as a collections tool to makes notes on the accounts and print statements, click on the blue Customer Number link. The following screen will appear.
- Type New Collection Notes into the text box.
- The Send By drop down allows you to Fax, Email or Print a letter to send to the customer. Enter the Letter ID, which has been created in the Collection Letters under Accounts Receivable.
- Click on the Include Statement box to also send or print to the customer along with the collection letter.
