Calculate PayThis is a featured page

How to get to this screen: Click on Payroll, then Calculate Pay.
Calculate Pay uses the hours on file and/or an employee's salary information to calculate pay and withholding.

Calculate Pay - NetServiceBooks Service Software
  • Every time Calculate Pay is run, the current pay information is recalculated. Calculate Pay can be run as many times as necessary to get the pay period information correct.
  • The Beginning and Ending Period Dates are only sent to the Payroll Detail Report and for no other purpose, but you must make sure that the dates on your hours fall within this date range.
  • Once checks are printed, you cannot calculate pay again.
  • The pay cycles you specify must match the pay cycles in the Employee File.
  • Pay can be calculated for one or more employees. If you wish to print a check for only one employee, deselect the Calc For All Employees box and click on the employee's name to highlight it. Once you calculate the employee's pay you can go back and do it again for another.
  • If you need to generate a special check in the middle of the pay period (ie. someone quit), you must do a completely separate payroll run for the full cycle.
